Returning clients will be provided with access to schedule sessions online following the initial appointment
A personalised recommendation regarding frequency of services will be provided following initial session. The frequency and duration of session attendance is determined by the nature of your concerns, your needs, and goals.
All presenting issues will require an initial assessment. In most cases we will work together for a period of 12-weeks.
Services may be offered on a longer-term basis depending on your circumstances.
An information consent form will be emailed to you prior to the appointment and will provide you with details regarding confidentiality (including limits), storage and access to your information, and payment of fees. This form is required prior to the initial appointment.
Supportive counselling services are provided under a framework of recovery. Our lead counsellor is registered with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors, Australian Recreational Therapy Association, Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, and the Australian Association of Gerontology.
At this time, we do not provide Medicare rebates for Mental Health Care Plans or private health insurance.
However, you do not require a referral from your GP and the fee schedule is aligned to out of pocket fees.
We do not assess or diagnose physical or mental health conditions. We are experienced in providing psychosocial rehabilitation and counselling services to people at risk of and managing diagnosed mental health conditions.
